What is 1v1 Caño Soccer?

1v1 Caño Soccer is played in the Jess Sports Caño Cage to provide fast-paced, goal-scoring, nutmegging action. Caño is another way to say nutmeg or panna; it means to put the ball through the opponent's legs. So how do games work?

  • Games are played to four minutes or 11 points, whichever comes first.
  • Points are awarded by either scoring a goal or completing a caño. Therefore, doing both simultaneously awards two points.
  • If a caño is completed while maintaining possession (it must be clean and not hit off any walls of the cage) then the game is over and that player wins regardless of score.

The 1v1 Caño Cup

Jess Sports is excited to announce bringing 1v1 Caño Soccer to San Antonio in conjunction with 3v3Live:

  • Every participant is guaranteed at least three 1v1 games in the tournament.
  • The tournament is located at the Schertz Soccer Complex.
  • This is a one-day tournament on June 23rd, with the first round of games beginning at 10am.
